At Imperium Renewables, we're not only bringing renewable fuels to the market today, we're innovating the next generation of renewable fuels that will power tomorrow.
 

With less than 3% of the world's reserves, the United States consumes more than 25% of the world's petroleum production and our dependence is growing. World wide growth in demand for petroleum exceeds growth in supply. The economic, environmental, and security implications of our consumption are mounting, threatening every aspect of life in America and around the world. We believe there is a better way - and renewable fuels, especially Biodiesel, are one key component.
 

Biodiesel is a renewable fuel made from vegetable oils, waste oils or fats that is compatible with existing fueling infrastructure and diesel vehicles. At Imperium Renewables through significant investments in technology innovation we are fundamentally changing the economics of making this fuel. We are making Biodiesel an alternative for today and for the future by producing biodiesel that meets or exceeds the most stringent fuel quality standards. Every gallon of Biodiesel consumed reduces our dependence on foreign oil, reduces emissions and supports local economies.
 

With a growing and industrializing world economy, conservation, while important, will not be enough. We need new sources of fuels that are renewable and better for the environment. One of these renewable fuels is Biodiesel. Petroleum independence is possible, and Imperium Renewables is helping lead the way.

Breaking News

Imperium Renewables is proud to have partnered with Virgin Atlantic Airlines, Boeing and General Electric to successfully conduct the world's first commercial test flight using biojet fuel. Imperium produced the biofuel for this historic flight, held February 24, 2008. The flight and the partnership demonstrates that biofuels will be an important part of the aviation industry and is the first step toward the vision of a clean and sustainable future.
