Jane Orenstein

Ms. Orenstein has been our General Counsel since August 2006 and our Vice President and Secretary since May 2007. From 1999 to August 2006, Ms. Orenstein served as Vice President and General Counsel for Shurgard Storage Centers, Inc., a self-storage company that merged with Public Storage, Inc. in August 2006, where she also served as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to Shurgard, Ms. Orenstein served for four years as Assistant General Counsel for Smart & Final Stores Corporation, a grocery wholesale and retail chain. Ms. Orenstein has over 20 years of experience as a government and corporate attorney. Ms. Orenstein received her bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Law Center.
